Red squirrels... ADHD or what?

Have you ever stopped and watched a Red Squirrel?  They can be extremely twitchy, changing positions every few seconds.  They also like to chatter.

If I was a Psychiatrist I think that they could be good candidates for a diagnosis of Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).  Thankfully our animal friends don't have to worry about being prescribed pharmaceutical drugs, which they couldn't afford.  Or perhaps they do have something to take the edge off... in the way of fermented nuts?

It is no wonder that we describe someone who is fidgety or unpredictable "squirrely" or just plain "nuts".
