Many hands make light work

This past Sunday after church we took out the old pews and replaced them with new chairs.  It was a monumental job to unbolt these many rows of pews and then stack them into a large moving truck. All the while we also had folks moving in new chairs and add their cushioned pads. It was amazing, a "miracle" some might say, that within a few short hours we got it all done.

It was especially fun to be working with kids and adults of all ages from our church, Valley of Peace Lutheran.

 The old pews are going to be transported, thanks to a donor, to a start-up church in Phoenix, Arizona.
