If the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. If it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning, torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day... EB White

Noticing beauty and the presence of holiness
When we participate in beauty we come into the presence of the holy - John O'Donohue.
John O'Donohue an Irish poet, philosopher and Catholic scholar has a captivating audio CD "Beauty: The Invisible Embrace" that I highly recommend. His voice paces steadily and thoughtfully in a rich Irish cadence utilizing the English language with a depth and simplicity that is entrancing and thought provoking.
We have wonderfully funded library system (thanks to our taxes), where I was able to check out this CD. The book and CD are also available from his website.
One more thought from John O'Donohue, Each of us is an artist of our days, the greater our integrity and awareness, the more original and creative our time will be."
Let's make some art today!
