Okay, I should have learned from my earlier mishap shoveling snow from the roof. But, having been released from the hospital, and being somewhat older, I just went back to my same old bad habits. I forgot all about safety and was messing around shoveling the roof again.
I'll soon be accepting hospital visits. This time they have me in a special ward for people suffering from "head cases". Most everyone seems pleasant in their nice white coats. However, I'm a little concerned about this one nurse... named Ratchet. She seems to have something of a nasty edge about her ;-)
If the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. If it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning, torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day... EB White

"Fun" roof shoveling
I quietly chuckled to myself when I saw this house that had a sign advertising roof snow removal (lf), that still appeared to have a considerable amount of snow on the roof. Got me thinking about how the plumbers pipes are always leaking...
A couple of days ago, while walking in the neighborhood I found a crew shoveling snow from the roof of a house nearby (rt). With just over 60" of snow this year, and no major melting periods, it has been adding up!
So, I figured it was time for me to get the ladder out once again and shovel the snow. As you can see, I had fun doing it! Thank goodness for hard heads and soft snow!
